Flask sampling systems may be used to grab samples during flight for later analysis for a very wide range of species. We have the ability to support two separate systems, one for temporary installation in the ECO-Dimona cabin, the other case mounted for flexible use in other light aircraft. ECO-Dimona Flask System This system has not been used for some time but can be brought back to service with a little preparation time. It provides 8 pairs of glass flasks, with one pair being selectable for filling at a time. It is normally used for profiling trace gases and/or isotopes at discreet levels within the atmosphere. Power is provided from the aircraft's 28 VDC system; no logging is incorporated at this time, but could be included in future versions with a little development. Portable Flask Sampling System This system is case mounted and battery powered. Again it has been unused for some time and would need minor refurbishment before use. Individual flasks must be manually connected and filled individually. Please contact us for more information on these systems This article was published on 2024-06-25
