The SJ4000 is a low cost, lightweight action camera, employed for stills and video on UAS and ECO-Dimona platforms. We use our SJ4000 mainly for in-cockpit imaging on the ECO-Dimona; it is a relatively old and low cost action camera but in this mode of operation is still effective at capturing good images using time-lapse shooting. Video is commonly affected by vibration on motor driven platforms. The SJ4000 can also be mounted on our UAS platforms to provide additional imaging capability - primarily not for quantitative data acquisition due to relatively low image quality, but for oblique aerial footage or images. It is broadly compatible with our GoPro gimbals and mounts. Specifications General Specifications: Lens: 170° A + HD wide-angle lens, 6G lens.
