The inventory includes two A6000 cameras professionally modified for Near Infra-Red and / or UV sensitivity. We have management two professionally modified A6000 cameras, which have been adapted to provide full spectrum sensitivity, along with UV and NIR band pass filters to adapt the cameras to 'see' only Near Infrared (NIR) or ultra-violet (UV) light. The NIR modified cameras are effective for structural mapping of snow surfaces, where the NIR provides much better definition than RGB, and for mapping vegetation properties. UV sensitive cameras can be used for various applications including vegetation mapping at wavelengths commonly used by pollinators.
